From Sinchon Station Exit 2 (or 3), walk 5–8 minutes toward Yonsei University. 3rd floor of the building next to Changcheon Church.
Three ways to receive your SIM
Visit the store
Activate on the spot at the Sinchon store. Usually about 30 minutes, a bit longer when busy.
Airport pickup
Receive your SIM at the airport on arrival day. After applying, arrange the time via chat.
Delivery
If you have a Korean address, we can ship the SIM to you.

Apply online
Choose a plan on the web or in the app and apply. Applying counts as a reservation, so activation is faster when you visit. You will get a confirmation notice.

Prepare documents
A copy of your passport, your arrival date and, for long stays, your visa issuance confirmation. Add a Korean address and bank account if you have them.

Receive after arrival
Store visit, airport pickup or delivery — whichever you chose. If your arrival date changes, let us know in advance.

Activation complete
Your Korean phone number is created once activation is complete. Use services that need a Korean number after that.

Good to know
- Bring your passport and any visa-related documents needed for activation.
- If your arrival date changes, tell the store in advance.
- Right after arrival, before you have an ARC, you can still activate with your passport.
- Check that your phone supports a physical SIM or eSIM before activation.
- Prepaid and postpaid plans have different conditions and terms. Choose based on how long you stay and how you will use it.
- Your Korean phone number is created only after activation is complete.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get a Korean phone number before I arrive in Korea?
No. The number is created when activation is complete. Applying from abroad makes activation after arrival faster.
Can I activate a SIM without an Alien Registration Card (ARC)?
Yes. SIMs for stays under 3 months can be activated with a passport only. For stays of 6 months or longer, a passport plus your visa issuance confirmation is enough.
Can I get an eSIM?
Yes, if your phone supports eSIM. Currently only some prepaid plans and postpaid plans are available as eSIM, so please check via chat or at the store.
Is there a contract period or cancellation condition?
Prepaid SIMs have no contract. Postpaid MVNO plans have a 6–8 month term, and postpaid carrier (MNO) plans have a 1-year term.
Can students, working-holiday and work-visa holders activate a SIM?
Yes, all of them. Eligibility may vary by visa type, carrier and plan, so please ask the store.
I can't come to Sinchon. Can I still use WORKY Mobile?
Yes. Delivery and airport pickup are available, and WORKY Mobile is opening more branches outside Seoul.
